Community Bazaar 2006 A Huge Success

Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem.
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Mercful, the Especially Merciful.

On Saturday, May 6th 2006, Al-Qalam School, IQRA Elementary and Al-Qiblah Elementary School had our 3rd annual Community Bazaar and it was a roaring success.

We had over 20 vendors, 9 different types of games, 2 moon bounces, popcorn, cotton candy, sno kones and balloons. The cookout kitchen served BBQ Chicken, hot dogs, wraps and a variety of other foods.
Visitors to the Bazaar came from all over the D.C. Metropolitan area, even up from New Jersey!

We thank all of our vendors, volunteers, students, staff, parents and all of our visitors for making this year's event an exceptionally successful one. We know that everyone worked hard and helped contribute to the wonderful event. Jazzak Allahu Khairan.

We pray that Allah Subahana wa Ta'ala will reward all of your hard work. Ameen!

Sisters Night 2006 a Success

All of us here at Al-Qalam School would like to thank all of our staff, students and parents who help make our Sisters Night 2006 event a huge success.

Parent Teacher Conference Friday, Feb 17 2006

Asalaamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

The 2nd Quarter Parent Teacher Conference is going to be held on Friday, February 17, 2006 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Parents, please make sure that you have made arrangements for a scheduled time to meet with the teachers. Blocked timings are as follows:

Block 1 --- 8:00 - 9:00 am
Block 2 --- 9:00 - 10:00 am
Block 3 --- 10:00 - 11:00 am
Block 5 --- 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Block 6 --- 12:00 - 1:00 pm

Please also be informed that there will be no school for the students on that day.
